Rockets win regular-season finale
Payton Croft recorded his career high Tuesday night at Providence
scoring 27 points and nailing eight treys to help lead the Rockets
to an easy 77-45 win.
Nick Parker, Timmy Hill and Chris Findley also combined for four
three-pointers to help Crittenden record its fourth straight victory
while finishing the regular season slate at 16-8.
After leading 20-11 at the conclusion of the first quarter, the
Rockets put the game away with a powerful 17-0 run to open up
a 37-20 advantage.
Rocket coach Jimmy Croft was pleased with the way his troops came
out and took care of business against the Bulldogs to cruise to
the dominating performance.
However, a statistic which displeased him was the fact that his
squad was outrebounded 54-39. Croft realizes that in order to
enjoy a successful postseason, his team must be more of a factor
on the backboards.
